May – My first month of summer in which I spent more time catching up on TV shows, eating and spending time with family than reading books. Oh well!
I started this month with hopes of reading at least three books – one that my boyfriend suggested, one that I have been waiting months to read and one that I left at home while returning to uni to finish the school year. Did I get through all three? No. However, I did get through two of them and 50% through an audio book, which is pretty good.
To be quite honest, I just haven’t been in the mood to read until last week. I finally started making time to read before bed and made sure that I had a book with me for every car ride and appointment. I found myself really struggling to get through The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time so in hopes of that changing, I began reading Unfiltered and flew through it. I won’t spoil anything, as I am currently working on the review, but I loved it and highly recommend it. In addition to this, I figured out that my local library has E-books and Audiobooks through an app called “OverDrive”. I highly recommend checking it out because it is easy to make an account and find your local libraries to browse their selections. I was able to download Talking As Fast As I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between by Laura Graham which I am loving. A book read by, basically, Lorelai Gilmore? Yes please! I have now started reading The Curious Incident again and as of yesterday, I am finally getting into it. I am not sure how positive my review will be in the end, but at least the final 50% of the book has been enjoyable!
Overall, this month was a slow one in terms of reading but I got through it and have finally returned to my normal reading a lot, everyday self. I am looking forward to June as I will have a lot of opportunities with traveling and shopping. Yay for summer reading!

I LOVE Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls, and I devoured her book. As an actor too it was awesome to hear her story and experiences! And she is hilarious and I want to be her best friend.
